At Merced United, we’re not just about soccer; we're passionate about nurturing a love for all sports. Building on our successful foundation in youth soccer, we're excited to bring the same spirit to basketball. Our basketball league offers a fun, competitive, and inclusive atmosphere that caters to young athletes of all skill levels.
Meet Coach Adam: Adam Barase, our Merced United Basketball Coordinator and a notable alumnus of El Capitan basketball, is currently coaching at El Capitan High School. With a deep commitment to youth development, Adam leverages his years of experience on and off the court to cultivate talent and foster sportsmanship among our young athletes. “Shoutout to all the parents and kids showing up so far! This is just the beginning of something with great potential. The goal with Merced United Basketball is for kids to have access to high-level trainings and development, whether they are a beginner or advanced, at a very affordable cost.”

MU Basketball Clinics
Every weekend, we host free clinics aimed at improving player skills and understanding of the game. These sessions are great opportunities for players to sharpen their abilities and for parents to engage with coaches and other families.
