Our Mission is to provide year-round sports programming and educational opportunities to youth in Merced County, with an emphasis on diverse and underserved communities. Through first-class multisport programming, we aim to create sports equity through social inclusion. Our objective is to develop well-rounded student athletes that are prepared to succeed in professional and/or higher education opportunities.

Currently led by 9 volunteer board members. Board meetings are held every 2nd Tuesday of the month. Locations vary due to availability. We can be reached at: board@mercedunited.com

Merced United Rec Soccer
q) When are Practices and Games?
a) Practices schedules will vary per team/coach, but you can expect practices to be in the evening during the week (most coaches have full time jobs too). However, games will always be Saturday morning/afternoon at the Merced Sports Complex
q) Can I request my player to be on a different team?
a) Requests need to be made at the time of registration or before team rosters are assembled and provided to each coach during coaching orientation. Exceptions will not be made.
q) Who are the Coaches for each team?
a) Coaches are parent volunteers that are making the effort to organize and lead practices every week during the season and make lineup decisions on gamedays. Show respect to all coaches, they are stepping up to make it possible for a roster of players to play in our Rec League.
q) Can I request a refund and how do I make the request?
a) Refunds are available if requested before the season begins, so that players on the waiting list can be slotted in. To make a refund request, you must email our Recreational League Registrar, Liz- liz@mercedunited.com
Merced United Competitive
q) When are Tryouts?
a) We post tryouts on our social media (@mercedunited) or you can reach out with specific age group questions to our Academy Director, Juan- juan@mercedunited.com
q) How much does it cost to play competitive?
a) It will be about $800 per year with two Season (Spring and Fall) Fees of $300 and a Jersey set that will be about $200.
Merced United League
q) Who can play in the Merced United League?
a) Anyone over the age of 18. However, Divisions vary by skill.

Merced United Basketball
q) You offer Basketball Programming as a part of Merced United?
a) Yes we do! Our first season will be Spring 2025. We will learn from out first season and make improvements to host a Summer season!
